That's why it's important to create a project. Without some way of organizing them, things can quickly get messy and unmanageable. To enable infinite undo, Select Windows → Settings/Preferences → Preferences. By default, Maya only lets you undo a certain number of moves. Pressing Z will undo your last move in Maya. When learning Maya, you're going to make mistakes (no matter how good you are). If spotlight isn't working, open up Finder, select Applications in the left bar, and Navigate to Autodesk → maya2011 → Maya. The simplest way to launch Maya is to click the Spotlight icon in the upper right, type "Maya", and click on the Maya menu item. You may need to change this setting twice for it to stick. Also change the middle mouse button from "Off" to "Button 3". However, the Mac Pros don't have right-click or the middle mouse button enabled by default.
